Brigitte Täubl

The Austrian was already interested in Baroque violin-playing methods and visited several masterclasses in Innsbruck under Ingrid Seifert during her course at the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts under Christos Polyzoides. From 1987, she deepened her training in this direction at the Scola Cantorum Basiliensis under J. Schröder and T. Hengelbrock. This is how she came into contact with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, where she has been a member and Partner since 1989. She also regularly performs with Lorenz Duftschmid with the Ensemble Armonico Tributo, which specialises in chamber music in particular. She gave a violin and ensemble class for 20 years, until 2009, in the “Woche der Alten Musik” in Krieglach, Austria. Brigitte Täubl is particularly interested in musical work with young people. You are welcome to contact her if you know of youths with a closer interest in the FBO (class visits, etc.).
