Youth Sneak Preview

With its 'Youth Sneak Previews', the FBO has used its jubilee season to develop its own format for young people aged 10 to 18 - and it is already very popular. Before a regular concert, the individual parts of the programme are played, explained and sections partly repeated until they are finally put together to create a sequence during a one-hour special concert hosted by a presenter. Visitors and musicians can then discuss various aspects over juice and pretzel.

With this concert format the aim is not to 'perform' a programme in the traditional sense, but to interweave comments from the points of view of the interpreters and to encourage the public to ask questions. In short, a real musical encounter!

The next Youth Sneak Preview will take place on 26 October 2013 with the programme "Concerted stock market crash".
