Education

The educational work of the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra is directed towards the next generation of musicians. The most important contribution, of course, is made by the annual Ensemble-Akademie Freiburg, organised jointly with the ensemble recherche. As a supplement to the Academy, the musicians of both ensembles offer additional workshops for individual instruments (always one Baroque and one modern). The FBO is also involved in collaborations and projects with other organisations catering for up-and-coming musicians.
